As per reading The Stay At Home Mom’s Guide To Making Money Online by Ron Taylor Copyright 2010 I would like to challenge myself to make money online without spending money. I have the eBook on my Kindle and referenced it several times and it is full of great advice and the author is not trying to rip you off or make you spend $1,000 on a product or course. Of course, the vast majority of the information is not mentioned here and this is no substitute for the eBook. The author is also found at Twitter at RonTaylor @misterhomebiz. The book recommends reading the following three books:
- The Automatic Millionaire by David Back
- Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
- Multiple Streams of Internet Income by Robert G. Allen
Maybe I will try to borrow them from the library, but I feel I have read enough books and need to invest time in this hobby website. The books definitely sound interesting and are most certainly worth your while, but eventually you have to invest time and put things into action. Also on my agenda and worth noting from the eBook is to check out the websites for the following two stay at home moms that have made money online:
- Jennifer Baxter from PotPieGirl.com
- Holly Mann from Honest Riches
Also, worth noting but not in the eBook is that many towns and cities offer free classes for business owners and or those thinking about starting a business. In Chicago there is the small business solution station that can be found at www.cityofchicago.org/bacp. There are also agencies such as Jewish Vocational Services and the Woman’s Buiness Development Center that offer discounted classes and sometimes free support. Both places do not require you to be Jewish or a woman. Sometimes a good program or class is offered. Of course, there are websites like johnchow.com that also offer good advice on making money online.
